Many Gifts!!

Birthday Sunrise, St. Augustine, 8-20-2015

What a beautiful way to welcome in the day I was born! Thank you sun! Thank you clouds! Thank you tide! Thank you birds! Already today, before 8am I have received many gifts - the flash of lightning streaks in the dark cloud out at sea, seagulls patiently posing, morning glories in bloom on the beach for the first time that I've seen them this summer, sea oat friends sitting with me as I meditated in the sand dunes, a plane doing all kinds of tricks directly above my head in celebration (I even got a video!), the first time this year I've smelled the delicious scent of these breathtakingly delightful flowering bushes on the walk to the beach, all kinds of sweet birthday messages from friends and fans and family online, and, oh so exciting, good waves!!! Thank you world! Thank you friends! Thank you nature! I'm going surfing!
